Notice of Parcel Tax Roll Availability – Annual Notice

TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to section 208 of the Community Charter, the District of Elkford’s parcel tax roll that is part of the Water and Sewer Reserve Replenishment Parcel Tax Assessment Roll Bylaw No. 760, 2014, is available for inspection at the District Office, 816 Michel Road during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm from April 20, 2017 to May 2, 2017.

A person who owns a parcel included on the parcel tax roll may request that the roll be amended in relation to the person’s own property. Requests for the roll amendments must be made in writing to the District of Elkford and received by the District no later than 2:00 pm on May 2, 2017. Requests for amendments can be made on one or more of the following grounds:
a) There is an error or omission respecting a name or address on the parcel tax roll;
b) There is an error or omission respecting the inclusion of a parcel;
and/or,
c) An exemption has been improperly allowed, or disallowed.
