2024 Holiday Hours and Facility Closures
This holiday season, the District of Elkford office is closed from December 25, 2024, to January 1, 2025. Note that voicemail, email and social media messages will not be monitored during this timeframe. The office will reopen on Thursday, January 2, and all inquiries will be answered at that time.
The Community Conference Centre, Aquatic Centre, Recreation Centre and Public Works office are closed on:
- December 25 and 26, 2024
- January 1, 2025
In the event of an after-hours emergency (water, sewer or roads only), Public Works standby personnel can be reached at 250.910.4026. Note that after-hours charges may apply.
If you have an issue related to Highway 43 (including highway snow removal, road conditions and to request removal of a dead animal on the highway), contact Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting LP at 1.800.665.4929.
