ELKFORD MUNICIPAL CAMPGROUND is situated in the southeast corner of British Columbia in the Rocky Mountains. The lush area is filled with forest slopes, spectacular meadows, glacier-few streams and lakes, all surrounding the picturesque community of Elkford.

Explore the beautiful surrounding lakes which include the breathtaking Elks Lake Provincial Park. This park is just 50 kilometres north of Elkford. Nestled above the tree line in the Rocky Mountains. This breathtaking scenery of lakes are set against massive cliff faces, headwalls, waterfalls, summits and hanging icefalls. Take another spectacular adventure to Josephine Falls, just 3 kilometres walk from the hwy. Josephine Falls has an stunning 225 ft cascade waterfall.
INTERESTED IN FISHING!! Come and experience the glacier fed waters of the Elk and Fording River. The angling here offers cutthroat trout, bull trout, and rocky mountain whitefish.
