Celebrate Winter in the Wild on February 18 and 19

This upcoming Family Day weekend, on February 18 and 19, Elkford is the place to be to celebrate Winter in the Wild!

Put on your parka, grab your hat and mittens and join us for a howling good time! Kick off the weekend with swimming, tobogganing, fireworks, a night ski at Wapiti Ski Hill and have some hot chocolate and s’mores around the bonfire.

On Saturday, be sure to check out archery for all ages, wood carving demos, judging of the snow sculpture contest, Frozen-themed public skating, moonlight cross-country skiing (plus a bonfire), the snowmobile poker run/family ride and family snowshoeing. Don’t forget to peruse the selection of “ugly mugs” for sale and pre-register your family pet in Saturday’s dog sled race!
