NOTICE OF TEMPORARY USE PERMIT APPLICATION

For Council Consideration on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 6 p.m.

Pursuant to Section 494 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that council for the District of Elkford will consider Temporary Use Permit No. 2023-01 at the meeting to be held in person and virtually on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Council Chambers, 744 Fording Drive, Elkford, B.C.

Applicant:	William David McArthur & Lori Dawn McArthur
Location:	9 Iskut Road
Legal Description:	Lot 33, District Lot 4544, Kootenay District Plan 14105
Purpose:	The property owner has applied to use one (1) Recreation Vehicle as accommodation on the property for up to 3 years. If approved this permit would expire on October 23, 2026.

All persons who believe they are affected by the Temporary Use Permit are encouraged to submit their concerns in writing to the District Office at 744 Fording Drive or by email to info@elkford.ca. All submissions should include your name and address. Please be advised that any written submissions will become part of the public record. Contact info@elkford.ca for information on how to attend the meeting virtually.

The permit is available for viewing at the District Office by request. Further information may be obtained by contacting the District of Elkford at 250.865.4000, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays).
