For Council Consideration on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 6 p.m.
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 40 of the Community Charter, public notice is hereby given that council for the District of Elkford will consider Road Closure Bylaw No. 911, 2024 at the regular meeting to be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, in the District Office at 744 Fording Drive, Elkford B.C.

Legal Description: | Previously described as “Road” as illustrated in Plan EPP121292 | |
Purpose: | In preparation to proceed with the lease to Elk Valley Family Society in accordance with the proposals and letters of intent for the construction of rental housing with commercial/institutional use on the ground floor. This Bylaw is required to close the road in Plan EPP121292 as identified in the reference plan EPP140925. In addition to the road closure, the District will be registering a plan to consolidate the surrounding lots B, C, D, E and F into one lot.

All persons who believe they are affected by Road Closure Bylaw No. 911, 2024 will be provided an opportunity to make representations to Council during the Regular Council meeting at the date and time noted above. Please be advised that any written submissions will become part of the public record.
The bylaw is available for viewing at the District Office or by emailing info@elkford.ca with “Road Closure Bylaw No. 911, 2024” in the subject line.
