Urban Wildlife Committee Hosting Community Event: April 11, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Mark your calendars, folks! The Urban Wildlife Committee is hosting their first-ever interactive community event in Elkford on April 11. This event is free, family-friendly and everyone is welcome!
On Thursday, April 11, plan to be at the Community Conference Centre (750 Fording Drive) from 4 to 8 p.m. for door prizes, giveaways, a free BBQ sponsored by Teck Coal Ltd., games for kids and hands-on demonstrations, safety talks and advice from renowned wildlife experts and organizations. Don’t miss presentations on important topics like bear awareness, wildlife safety, stewardship and rehabilitation—plus, free giveaway bags will be handed out to the first 50 kids through the door!
